The short version

The Missnine range runs to six benches: clear stadium bags, laptop totes and work bags, backpack purses, crossbody and sling bags, totes, and hobo and shoulder bags. Most of the range is vegan leather. The laptop totes are canvas with a vegan leather trim, and the clear bags are PVC with a vegan leather trim. Each bag comes in a handful of colourways, and each colourway has its own page.

What the people behind Missnine care about is the load. A bag is drawn around the thing it carries, and the outside comes second. That is why the size in inches is the first fact on every page, before the colour.

What this catalogue adds

A page per bench with a catalogue index on the left and chips for colour, material and feature. A bag page prints length, width and height from the maker's data, the weight empty, the laptop size the sleeve takes, whether the bag meets the 12 by 6 by 12 inch clear-bag rule, the closure, the strap and the pockets. The other colourways of the same bag sit beside it as small photographs.

Three guides do the reading: the clear bag rule quoted from the league that wrote it, what the federal leather guides say the word leather may mean, and what an airline calls a personal item. Each quotes its sources word for word and prints the date we read them.

What we do not do

Buttons open the bag at our retail partner, and payment, delivery and returns happen there. Ratings on a page belong to that bag alone and are never added up across the range. Where the maker makes a claim, the page repeats it as the maker's words.

Will a Missnine clear bag get through a stadium gate?

The common rule is a clear bag no bigger than 12 by 6 by 12 inches. Every clear bag page prints its own three numbers, and the guide quotes the rule. Venues differ, so check yours.

What does vegan leather mean here?

Polyurethane on a fabric backing, in the maker's words. It is not leather, and the federal guides say a product that looks like leather but is not should say so. Where a title says only leather, the page repeats the word as the maker's.

Which laptop fits which tote?

The laptop totes take a 15.6 inch laptop in a padded sleeve. Some backpack purses take a 13 inch laptop. The size is on each page, and a laptop is measured corner to corner across the screen.

Why is every colour its own page?

That is how we at Missnine sell them. The price on a page belongs to the exact colourway you are looking at, and the row of small photographs links the others with their own figures.

Is a Missnine bag a personal item on a plane?

Airlines set the size, not the bag. One major carrier caps a personal item at 18 by 14 by 8 inches; every bag page prints its own inches so you can compare. The guide has the quotes.
